Extension of Suspension of Activities Judicial Courts

As a result of Covid-19 pandemic and to this day, judicial courts have extended their period of work suspension in the following terms (with the general exception of criminal and family courts).

I. ANNOUNCEMENTS OF EXTENSION OF WORK SUSPENSION AT A FEDERAL LEVEL: National Supreme Court of Justice. Through announcement number 57/2020, dated April 13, 2020, the National Supreme Court of Justice decreed the extension of the work suspension. The period of suspension of work is from March 18 to May 5, 2020. During the period mentioned above, no meetings, hearings or procedural deadlines will be held. There will be only one guard to receive urgent constitutional disputes requesting suspension. Federal Judicial Authority. Through announcement number 06/2020, dated April 13, 2020, the Federal Judicial Authority ordered to extend the suspension of jurisdictional work of the Federal Judicial Authority's entities. The period of work suspension will be from March 18 to May 5, 2020. During the period mentioned above there will be no procedural deadlines and there will only be one guard for matters requiring urgent attention. Federal Court of Administrative Justice. Through announcement SS/11/2020, the Federal Court of Administrative Justice determined an extension to the suspension of jurisdictional work. The period of work suspension is from March 18 to May 5, 2020. During the period mentioned above, no procedural deadlines will apply.

II. ANNOUNCEMENTS OF EXTENSION OF WORK SUSPENSION AT A LOCAL LEVEL: Mexico’s City Judicial Authority. Through announcement dated April 13, 2020, in compliance with Agreement 03-15/2020, issued by Mexico City's Superior Court of Justice, it was ordered to extend the suspension of jurisdictional work. The period of work suspension is from March 18 to May 5, 2020. During the period mentioned above, no procedural deadlines will apply. Administrative Justice Court of Mexico City. Through announcement dated April 13, 2020, the Administrative Justice Court of Mexico City ordered to extend the suspension of jurisdictional work. The period of work suspension is from March 18 to May 5, 2020. During the period mentioned above, no procedural deadlines will apply. State of Mexico's Judicial Authority Through announcement number 19/2020, dated March 31, 2020, the Judicial Authority of the State of Mexico ordered the extension of the suspension of jurisdictional work, which began on March 20, 2020 and will continue until April 30, 2020. During the period mentioned above, no procedural deadlines will apply. Nuevo León State Judicial Authority. Through announcement number 7/2020-II, the Superior Court of Justice of the State of Nuevo León ordered to extend the suspension of jurisdictional work. The period of work suspension is from March 18 to May 5, 2020. During the period mentioned above, no procedural deadlines will apply. Jalisco State Judicial Authority.

Through announcement dated April 17, 2020, the Judiciary Council of the State of Jalisco, ordered to extend the suspension of jurisdictional work. The period of work suspension is from March 18 to April 30, 2020. During the period mentioned above, no procedural deadlines will apply.
